Just finally figured it out! The trick was backing up the database. Wish I'd known earlier.
DomoticsExplorer: Honestly, I'd go with Node-RED over Vera for flexibility. Keep in mind the tradeoff.

My guess is the answer is in the logs. Try restarting the container and tell us what happens.
